3rd Agriculture Tour in Highlands County

Annual Highlands County Agriculture Tour
Presented by the Highlands County Overall Extension Advisory Committee
Tour Date: March 5, 2012
Time: 8:30- 4:00 P.M. (Tickets Required) Maximum of 100 participants.
Tour: This educational tour is intended to provide an overview of the importance of Agriculture to the economy of Highlands County. The tour will include Nursery and Landscape business, Caladium Farm, Winery, Gator Farm, Archbold Research Facility, and Greenhouse Industry. Along the tour we will discuss citrus, cattle, other agriculture enterprises. Join us for a fun and interesting look at Agriculture in Highlands County!
Tickets: $50.00 per person/ includes lunch, materials and extras.
• All Participants must be able to navigate uneven ground, bus steps and short pathways.
Only 100 Tickets are available!
- Tickets will go on sale on Monday February 20, 2012 at 8:00 A.M. at the Bert Harris Jr. Agriculture Center, 4509 George Blvd, Extension Office. There will be a maximum of 4 tickets per person, and no refunds. ** Tour stops are subject to change.
